Charity. Praying candles in a temple. The walk down “Memory Lane” was one that I had hoped to avoid, yet it is clear from the agency’s response to the Department and Regulation and Licensing inquiry into the ACT Ride that it is necessary. Willing to stop at nothing to divert attention from the real issues, the dynamic duo of Ellen and Karen have decided it is appropriate to point out that my resignation came shortly after the agency hired its “first African American female Executive Director”.

Not content to stop at the “race baiting” Karen and Ellen have committed to writing that my qualifications to serve on the board consisted solely of my ability to speak credibly to the public about living with a “weakened immune system” and “mental issues” commonly associated with HIV/AIDS and that I am “not constrained by the truth”.

Ellen and Karen have drawn the line in the sand and have left me no choice but to revisit the events leading up to my resignation.  It’s a walk I had hoped not to make.  Karen and Ellen’s action have, however, made it necessary.
