We recently received a copy of the 2009 Ryan White Part B budget for AIDS Network and for The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. We have attached a copy of the budgets for your review.
A review of the documents reveals the following:
- 46 percent of AIDS Network’s Ryan White grant funds will be used for pyschosocial case management
- 16 percent of ARCW’s Ryan White grant funds will be used for psychosocial case managment
- 38 percent of AIDS Network’s Ryan White grant funds will be used for HRSA defined core medical services
- 76 percent of ARCW’s Ryan White grant funds will be used for HRSA defined core medical services
Last year Dr. Jim Vergeront (AIDS/HIV Program director) stated that “the social service model under which AIDS Network operates may not be sustainable”.
